7:00pm Dinner – Menu includes poppy seed salad with homemade dressing, warm dinner rolls with butter and parmesan cheese, fire roasted tomato chicken, roasted red potatoes with oil and herbs, seasonal local vegetables, triple choclate mousse cake topped with whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce, fresh strawberries and topped from Sweets n' Treats. A signature Alice Munro cocktail, pictured at right, will also be available. Please advise of any dietary restrictions when you purchase your ticket.
8:00pm Keynote Address: Mothers and Sons by Elizabeth Hay

Elizabeth Hay will take us behind the scenes of her most recent novel. She will talk about how she came to write His Whole Life, in which the bond between a mother and son deepens even as the family comes apart – where everything that matters is at risk: family, nature, country, home.

Samuel Archibald, Guest Judge for the 2016 Short Story Competition, brings comments and presents the awards to the 2016 winners of the Short Story Competition.
